What did Tom need to do in order to get this project complete? What steps were required? How did Tom get to this finish line?

Tom needed to come up with what he actually wanted to do. He wanted to figure out what makes a good  AG teacher. He needed to plan meeting with teachers and find places to go to ask questions and interview. He went to all the major AG shindigs and talked to all of the teachers he say. He also drew from his own opinion, then he wanted to hear other's. He joined a facebook group to see what other's thought of there teachers. He got to this finish line gradually. It seems like a pretty relaxed topic in that he could spread out his work over his entire time. He also didn't have to actually create a product(not including his pesentation). His finsh line and steps are the same but at different times then my own. My project is condenced into a very small time frame of none stop work and at the end I'll have something material. Although it will be taken down.

Tell me what you think this class will be like?
What do you hope to get out of it?

I think this class will be alot like shop class since my project is the musical set. I hope it isn't going to be difficult to keep up with my blog posts. I'm not a great typer but that's all about to change. I hope that I get a good feeling for design and construction in this class. Luckily, I have already had some experience with the fall play.

After seeing the sample presentations, what are your first impressions?
What seems easy, difficult?

My first impression is that it looks pretty easy as long as one stays on track and records everything. It looks like alot of work to constantly have to keep track of meetings, interviews, journals and the actual project's progress. The easiest part of this whole thing is the actual project itself. I love building and designing and I spend all my time at Musical anyway. Having said that, the most difficult part will be finding time for every other part of this project. Luckily, my project will have an early completion date so I can focus on the second half: Interviews, and so on, during that time period.
